Great TZ page. I was looking at DVDs in K-Mart Australia and was pleased to see that a new TZ DVD made from lost TZ scripts written by Rod Serling was released. It stars people like Jack Palance and Ammy Irving in different episodes and was made after the 1985-87 second TV series.Good to see a Rod Serling story in colour.I hope that the 1985 series gets released on DVD after all the originals are released. The new series hosted by Forrest Whittaker looks like it might be good. He is a very good actor.

- Message: A fine webpage my favorite TZ episode is "The Invaders" in which Agnes Moorhead battles lilliputian astronauts unaware that they are US spaceman albeit really fat spacemen, say, what gives anyway? How come their so really humongusly fat what with Aerobics and all why did Uncle Sam send 'em into outer space so grossly overweight? The answer is that Cayuga Productions decided to save money by not hiring a master puppeteer or FX man and use however some old spacemen toys instead. Apparently these were a type of gag gift product instead of trim muscular aggressive astronaut robots kids got these idiotic fat dumpy looking robots under the Xmas tree. Kind of reminds me of the bad breath doll from years ago what a great gift that was too! The toy robots didn't seriously marr the episode although I feel that "The Invaders" would have been the best episode of the series had they hired craftsmen instead of using toys.

John: I am sincerely grateful that someone took the time out of their busy schedule and granted us the the one thing that was long overdue. The Twilight Zone series was one of those rare things, a real contribution to education. And it has touched so many lives, both evidently, and implicitly. The funny thing is, some of the people that it touched the most don't even know it. The Twilight Zone is arguably the most dynamic series to grace television. I just wish more people would notice this.

John, There is no other show like the Twilight Zone!! It's so philosophical and enriching. The other night I was watching "A Hundred Yards Over the Rim" and realized ... quality ... such quality. By the way, the performance in that episode is stunning. They did an excellent job! Robert Reed Ball State University

- Message: I own all the Zones thanks to Columbia House. The entire set is costly but if you are a serious TZ-Fan it is worth it. I was raised on TZ. Each story (thanx to R.S.) had a special message...the writing was superior. If R.S. didn't write it he would make sure the quality was there. Acting top notch and black & white only the better. Color would not do it justice. My first episode watched was "The Lonely" 11-13-59 and I even have been to the spot where it was filmed in Death Valley.....Thanks so much for having this site....My favorite episode is "Hocus Pocus And Frisby" 4-13-62....but that is like saying what was the best song The Beatles ever made...difficult job to rate them. I would enjoy hearing from any Zonies.....sorry I took so much space. Dave Stratton - age 45

John: Now I know why I'm so screwed up! I watched the Twilight Zone during my teen years! Maine public broadcasting just ran An American Experience program on Rod Serling and I came into my study to see if there were any other refugees from the 5th dimension! When I was growing up, McCarthy was on our 17" b&w tv, telling us his view of the world. Then, Rod Serling started writing his screenplays and his ideas fermented in my brain for years. I worked with a guy who was so conservative, he makes that fat-gut commentator (can't think of his name) seem like a flaming liberal. Oh well, I miss Serling's writing and hardly watch tv at all. I only find mean-spirited comedies and sex/violence that passes for informed standard fare. It's interesting that CBS let Serling go and then passed on Roddenbery's Star Trek; we have our own sci-fi show (Lost in Space). I do like your page and the graphics are great. Any suggestions on books that I can use to construct my own page? Any ideas welcome. Take care. Gilgamesh

Hello. My name is Roger Speidel, and I have been a Twilight Zone fanatic ever since my senior year in high school. The first episode I ever saw was "Five Characters in Search of an Exit". Like yourself, I was amazed, and hooked at the same time. At the risk of sounding immodest, there is little I don't know about the series! I just recently discovered your page, and find it well done. Thank you for connecting with one of my most all-consuming television obsessions and journeys into surrealistic worlds. Roger Speidel
